Raj Naraynsingh BA (Journalism & Mass Communications), DEP, AEC, Naturopath, CYA-ERYT-200

Raj Naraynsingh is a Naturopath and a member of   l’Association des Naturopathes Professionnels du Québec (ANPQ).  He studied at the Centre d’Ayurveda holistique in Montreal with Vaidya Anita Sharma; Ayurveda, Vastu Shastra, Colour & Gem therapy & Ayur and Therapeutic Yoga. Raj comes from a lineage of healers. His great-great-grandfather built the oldest Shiva temple in 1878 in his native Trinidad and Tobago.   He is a devotee of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of the Art of Living Foundation. He is a Reiki Grandmaster, Laughter Yoga leader, Quantum Healing Master & Tibetan Vibrational Massage and Marma therapist.  He was the manager of the Sri Sri Ayurveda Institute for Education and Wellness at the Art of Living Canadian Ashram.  He is a farmer & has been an advocate for organic & sustainable cultivation methods for more than two decades. His academic background includes a degree in Journalism & Mass Communications at the University of South Carolina and he worked on radio, print and television for over 20 years in several countries and collaborated with the UNDP & CARICOM in Haiti.  He was elected to the board of the Canadian Journalism Association, Quebec Chapter in 2010. He is an avid 4x4 enthusiast & former Assistant Secretary of the Trinidad and Tobago Off Road Club. He is currently working on a book of Yoga for children based on the lessons he gave his sons, as his ancestors taught their children.
